Classes for 7-18 Years

NY Dance Arts is our program for dancers who are aged from 8 to 18 years.

This is where the magic really starts to happen. Once dancers have progressed from the Dance Stars Program, we focus more on improving dance technique while still keeping the intention of our Studio Values being firmly entrenched in everything we do. Dancers are encouraged to always rise to be the very best they can be.

With fabulous programs that have been created very intentionally to allow students to progress in an age-appropriate manner, from an eight year old Junior dancer, into an eighteen year old Senior dancer, with all the age groups along the way, students simply love their classes, their teachers and being a part of NY Dance.

P.B.T. (Progressing Ballet Technique)

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students’ technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. It is a unique training system that helps teachers around the world prepare their students to receive the strength they need to achieve their personal best.

We are recommending PBT classes to compliment our Ballet, Acrodance, Lyra, Contemporary and Jazz classes as well as for anyone looking for a general conditioning and strengthening class.
