MOANA WEEKEND DANCE CAMP DAY ONE

Everyone from Pre-Juniors, Juniors, Intermediates, Sub-Seniors and Senior classes are required to be available for the weekend Moana Dance Camp.
The aim is to prepare and learn as much of what the Ensemble needs to learn over the two days so that we can continue on in our regular classes without a lot of time spent ‘learning’ the Moana songs and dances.

This is a day camp, so no sleeping over.
Attend from 2-5pm on Saturday the 19th and
9am-1pm on Sunday

During these two days, we will be:

• learning about the Moana Jr Musical and how it is different from the Disney movie that we already know
• our Moana Jr Crew Shirts will be handed out (everyone is to turn up in their regular dance uniform for both days)
• splitting into our Ensemble Groups (these are the characters that each of the grades will be playing).  The Ensemble Groups include:  The Ocean Ensemble, the Village Ensemble, the Ancestors Ensemble, the Tamatoa (crab) Ensemble and the Maui Ensemble.
• learning both the songs and dances – singing on Saturday and dancing on Sunday
• getting to know each other, making new friends
• learning a bit more about the auditions for the next weekend which will be fantastic for any children who are feeling unsure about auditioning.
